Before I get into the guide to buying and selling domains, I have this to pass out to you. Not in the book, but something I have noticed.

Check the lastest auctions at Sedo, Bido and other sites auctioning domains. See what domains sold for big bucks ($25,000 or more) and make a note of the domain and extension (was it a .com, .net, etc) with really .com being the domain to note. Others not so much.

Then go and check with your registrar or site where you can input names and get the complete list of domain extensions and if they are available.

EG: Say BuyMuch.com goes for $25,000. What you want to do is find any domain extensions that are still available. Like BuyMuch.org, etc….

Then put up that new domain for sale! Who knows, you may make as much as the original domain went for..or some lower sum. But still, it may be worth it to at the most try it out.
